As a kid, I reckon the only part of History lessons I actually enjoyed was learning about ancient Egypt. Quite frankly, I think it’s been the number one on my have-to-visit list since I can remember. I mean who wouldn’t want to visit a country whose history is as rich as it is intriguing. Just imagine it – the spectacular temples, hieroglyphs, the pyramids, sphinx and mummies – all a source of immense fascination for me. So it should really come as no surprise that we simply had to feature Egypt in an article on this site.
